Beijing Longyuan Molding to Exhibit at China Foundry Expo 2015

Release time:March 24, 2015

The 13th China International Foundry Expo 2015, hosted by China Foundry Association, will be held on March 31-April 3, 2015 at Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Center. After 28 years of synchronous development and growth with China's foundry industry, China International Foundry Expo has been among the international first-class foundry exposition. It is reported that the total area of this exhibition will reach 70,000 square meters, more than 1,000 exhibitors.

Ltd., the holding subsidiary of SANDY Printing Technology Co., Ltd. will grandly exhibit as scheduled, and will demonstrate the application of 3D printing in casting with 3D printed wax molds, sand molds and plastic parts that can replace wooden molds.

In casting production, wax molds, sand cores, sand molds, etc. have to be made through the pressure wax molds, core box molds, and the production process is long and costly, and the complexity of the process from the design of the molds to the processing and manufacturing links, the slightest carelessness will lead to all rework. Especially for some complex shape castings, such as engine block, cylinder head, manifold, etc., because of its complex mold manufacturing process and lead to a long development cycle, high research and development costs, can not adapt to the rapid response to market requirements. And 3D printing additive manufacturing technology just meets the requirements of rapid manufacturing. The combination of laser sintering molding and traditional casting can quickly realize the transformation from design to product, reduce intermediate links, accelerate the speed of product launching to the market, save development costs, and shorten the development cycle.
